                                                                                        EARTH

That sphere so blue,

That sea so dearly holds,

That giver of life,

And that taker beloved,

Dearest to men,

That titan of beauty,

Green was it’s life,

And so generous it was,

That twin of venus,

And the bearer who bears,

The burdens yet rage,

Is never felt by that,

Giant blue titan,

That giver yet also opposite of life.
