Percy Jackson - A book review by free quill

Welcome back to my blog guys. This is me free quill and I'm going to review The book series Percy Jackson.

The Percy Jackson series is my favorite series. It is a wonderful series. The book is based on Greek mythology and the plot is so wonderful. Rick Riordan, the author has perfectly captured Greek mythology and modernized it in a way that is understandable.

Plot: The series flows through the life of Percy Jackson and the other demigods at camp half-blood. This series follows Percy Jackson, a troublesome teenager who has ADHD and dyslexia, common in demigods. It's about Percy and the other demigods battle against the titans and the titan lord Kronos in Manhattan. It is called the battle of Manhattan. All of this happened due to the prophecy that the oracle of Delphi issued.

Characters:

  • Percy Jackson: The protagonist and the son of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea.
  • Annabeth Chase: Percy's girlfriend and the daughter of Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom.
  • Chiron: A centaur and the son of Kronos who was on the side of the Demigods.
  • Luke Castellan: The son of Hermes and Annabeth's first crush, who turned evil and betrayed Percy and his friends.
  • Kronos: The titan lord, lord of time and the son of Ouranos.
  • Thalia Grace: The daughter of Zeus who was turned into a pine tree by her father in order to save her from the monsters attacking her. The pine tree protected the camp and created a magical barrier around the camp. She was revived by The Golden Fleece by Percy. She became a hunter of Artemis.
  • Nico di Angelo: The son of Hades who hated Percy but also had a crush on Percy.
  • Bianca di Angelo: Elder sister of Nico and daughter of Hades, who joined the hunters of Artemis and died saving others from a metal automaton, a creation of Hephaestus.
  • Mr. D: The camp director, Dionysius, the god of wine and madness, who was punished by Zeus his father for chasing off limits nymphs.
Books:

  1. Percy Jackson and the lightning thief.
  2. Percy Jackson and the sea of monsters.
  3. Percy Jackson and the Titan's curse.
  4. Percy Jackson and the battle of the Labyrinth.
  5. Percy Jackson and the last Olympian.
