The night circus - a book review by free quill.

Image
Welcome back to my blog guys. This is me free quill and I am going to do something a bit different today. I'm gonna review the book Night circus by Erin Morgenstern. It's the book that dethroned The Percy Jackson series from first place in my favorite books list. Plot: the book is about a competition between two magician's trainees. The daughter of Prospero the enchanter(Hector Bowen) Celia Bowen and Alexander's trainee Marco Alisdair. But as the series progresses, they develop a love for each other. But the competition keeps them from getting together. The night circus was created by Chandresh Cristopher Lefevre. And there is a clock that is so majestic. Characters: Hector Bowen(Prospero the enchanter): The father of Celia Bowen and a famous magician. Alexander: A magician who hated publicity and was the trainer of  Marco Alisdair. Celia Bowen: Daughter of Hector Bowen and the illusionist at Le Cirque Des Reves(The circus of dreams. The night circus is called this.) M...

Hope - a poem by free quill

Welcome back to my blog guys. This is me free quill and this my poem about free quill. I hope you guys like it. Follow for more.                                                                                               HOPE You shall be lost by the gentle breeze, Yet come back by the shine of the sun, My last resort, Yet my first. Once you are lost, I lose belief, Victory meaningless, If hopeless for no defeat. The last left in Pandora’s box, Yet the first to turn to even when last, I know you are lost and found, But not found in the lost and found.

The heroes of Olympus - a book review by free quill

Welcome back to my blog guys. This is me free quill and this is a book review on the Heroes of Olympus series. I actually got the paperback version of these five books as a box set in crosswords. 📖 Book Review: The Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan ⭐ Overall Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) 🔍 Series Overview: The Heroes of Olympus is the thrilling sequel series to Percy Jackson and the Olympians , written by Rick Riordan. It follows a new prophecy and introduces new demigod heroes like Jason, Piper, and Leo, while still bringing back favorites like Percy and Annabeth. The series blends Greek and Roman mythology, creating a unique and action-packed storyline. The five books in the series are: The Lost Hero The Son of Neptune The Mark of Athena The House of Hades The Blood of Olympus ✨ What I Loved: The characters : Leo’s humor, Annabeth’s intelligence, Percy’s bravery, and the new heroes’ unique strengths kept me hooked. The plot twists : Every book ends with a cliffhan...

My Friend - a poem by free quill

Welcome back to my blog guys. This is me free quill and this post is a poem about friendship.                                                                                                   MY FRIEND My dear friend, I met you one day, Yet you last me a life, For only greed and death, Can part those, Who share their hearts. You I turned to comfort, And you I shall turn in glee, You I shall comfort most, And confide myself and my soul, Whose secrets made known better than known myself, To you oh dear friend, I shall be happy for success and grieve for loss, Mine and yours. My heart aches without you, your heart throbs, Felt by me, And we shall not part, Till We part ourselves.

On this land, Blood was shed, Of heroes of history, And innocents alike. Yet value no one does, Victims of greed, My great nation brave and proud, My motherland to the end, And on whom friends were made. And enemies driven away, Back to their own land, For peace defines ...

Percy Jackson - A book review by free quill

Image
Welcome back to my blog guys. This is me free quill and I'm going to review The book series Percy Jackson. The Percy Jackson series is my favorite series. It is a wonderful series. The book is based on Greek mythology and the plot is so wonderful. Rick Riordan, the author has perfectly captured Greek mythology and modernized it in a way that is understandable. Plot: The series flows through the life of Percy Jackson and the other demigods at camp half-blood. This series follows Percy Jackson, a troublesome teenager who has ADHD and dyslexia, common in demigods. It's about Percy and the other demigods battle against the titans and the titan lord Kronos in Manhattan. It is called the battle of Manhattan. All of this happened due to the prophecy that the oracle of Delphi issued. Characters: Percy Jackson: The protagonist and the son of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea. Annabeth Chase: Percy's girlfriend and the daughter of Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom. Chiron: A cent...

Welcome back to my blog guys. This is me free quill and 'tis my poem about darkness. I hope you like it.                                                                                                    DARKNESS That undescribing canvas, Completely one in thought, Yet comprehended varily, That sign of death. Of all evil in thought and deed, That follower of men, too is his, That darkness is his follower, Yet beautiful it was, For a man to whom the supreme truth, Is clear and is true, Birth and death were old friends, His presence lived of. Knowledge - a poem by free quill

Welcome back to my blog guys. 'Tis me free quill. And 'Tis I who have written this. I kinda went for the prophetic vibe back there so don't be scared. This is my most recent one and I hope you like it.                                                                                               KNOWLEDE Knowledge is of power, So is power of knowledge, True invincibility, Is knowledge’s alone, For all may fall, Yet remain that one may. Life guided by that, That alone will last, Through life and death, And good and bad. That alone is true, Of material wealth, In whose jaws we are clenched, That alone is everlasting.

At the window it stared, Lost in dreams of audience, Who even though deserved, Existed not yet. It lay forgotten in the heaps of others, It’s days of pomp gone, A fear struck it’s heart, Of death untold of, Existent yet distant, To the faraway world. Racing the words it’s heart , Antique yet new of ink, Thus it br...
